Full description of the activity

The excursion begins with a pick-up from the hotel on the morning of the day chosen when booking. Once all participants have been picked up, the bus will head towards Teide National Park, where you can admire the pine forests, lava formations and volcanic craters typical of Tenerife.

From the Teide National Park, the journey continues down to the village of El Tanque, where a lunch break is taken, and on to Icod de los Vinos, where there is a unique specimen of the dragon tree, which is said to be over 1000 years old. After greeting the ancient dragon tree, we head down to the coastal town of Garachico, which was once the island’s most important harbour. Garachico lies on a recent lava flow that has formed spectacular natural pools with crystal-clear water.

The tour continues with a stop in Masca, a small village nestled between steep volcanic peaks and ravines overlooking the imposing cliffs of Los Gigantes on the north-western tip of the island. Masca offers cultural values, unique photo opportunities and a rich biodiversity. A truly remarkable excursion for all lovers of rural life.
